Used, Toolmakers angle plate. Size, 3-7/8"x2-7/8"x3/4". Step, 15/32"x9/32". 28, 1/4"-20 tapped holes. Material mild steel to lessen internal movement after heat treat. Case hardened. Precision ground flat, square, and parallel. I used this angle plate to finish grind Die components. Flaws: 1) When I retired, I stored this angle plate in grease to prevent rust. Left grease stain discoloration as shown in pictures. Stains are cosmetic they do not affect squareness or flatness. 2) Before I sent this angle plate out for heat treating, I stamped my name on tool, shown in red in pictures.
